What each role can do
Viewer
Sees the overview, databases, runs, reports, backup locations and runners within their access; downloads and verifies reports. Cannot start or change anything.
Operator
Everything a viewer can, and: run a validation or a backup now, run a point-in-time drill, test custom checks against the last restore, test which runners reach each backup location, and record whether a run's result was right.
Admin
Everything: databases, backup locations and runners, users and teams, notifications, modules, updates, the licence and the configuration file. Admins always see every database and must use two-factor sign-in.
Extra rights
Operators can also be given the right to manage databases (within their access), backup locations or runners, without becoming admins: per person under Access and teams, or for a team.
Databases
Viewers and operators see every database unless their access is limited to chosen clients or databases (Access and teams, or a team). Outside it, a database does not appear for them at all.
