Check a Restorly report
Received a Restorly report from a client? Check here that it is genuine: signed by their Restorly installation and not changed since. The check runs in your browser: the files are not uploaded anywhere, and there is nothing to install.
What the check proves
- Not changed: the report is exactly as it was signed; a single changed character fails the check.
- Who signed it: the installation's key. Enter the key ID your client gave you to have it compared.
- Nothing missing: reports are numbered and each holds the fingerprint of the one before it, so a removed or reordered report shows when you check several.
- The PDF matches: a PDF counts as genuine only if it is exactly the rendering of its signed report; check it together with that report.
What it does not prove
The report records one restore test of one backup at one time, with the checks your client chose. It does not say how that backup, or any later one, is kept today: that is for your client to show with newer reports.
